Bowling

Today my family went bowling with my niece as I stating earlier. We had a wonderful time together. I didn't bowl worth beans tho...lol. I'm sure I will be a tad bit sore tomorrow. After bowling we just came home and ate dinner and watched tv. I will go out either tomorrow or Sunday to get my niece' Christmas gift.....I have only been talking about this for a week now. But now I know what she wants for Christmas. Then I'll take it to her on Sunday when I go to my sisters house. Then the talk is that my mom, my other sister, my niece and my sister, and me will go out to lunch on Monday. My niece flys back home on monday night.

Tomorrow the plan is to put more plastic up on the windows and the ceiling in the livingroom and kitchen. Anything that will help keep it warmer in here for the winter. Then around 6:30pm we are going to a candle walk in the next town over. We usually go every year and I pick up a few snowmans. In between the plastic getting put up and the candle walk my DH and son are planning on going out deer hunting.

Happy Black Friday

Thanksgiving was nice but I ended up with a upset tummy half way through my meal and stayed with me the rest of the day. But still had a nice time. In the evening we went over to my parents and seen my niece from out of town. It is always so great to see her, just wish she had more time home. We watched her wedding video since none of us could make it to her wedding. Very nice

Today we are going bowling with the whole family to spend more time with my niece. I still don't have her Christmas gift but at least I know what she wants and will get it to her sometime this weekend. Just won't be today....lol I will not be going to any store on black friday. People are to rude and pushy for me. So I'll just wait for some good sales some other time but this weekend. But, what she wants N can get it since it is in the store she works at...lol

Happy Thanksgiving

I just wanted to wish everyone a Happy Thanksgiving. I will be going to my inlaws for dinner and then to my parents house for dessert, only because my niece is in town....lol. Its not my parents year for us to come over. Tomorrow is also my son C's 26th birthday. Man, I can't believe the kid is that old. Where did all the time go...lol

Christmas Tree

Today I helped N get her Christmas tree up since after Thanksgiving she will be very busy working at both stores. The tree turned out very nice. We did have to run to the store to pick up some more lights.

I've been so tired today, spent most of my night awake in a half awake, half asleep state. Sitting up in bed thinking there is a war going on all around me and I couldn't lay down till the war was over. Mind you I have been watching the movie North and South...lol, so I guess I just took the movie and ran it right into my dreams....lol, and I remember it all...lol

The Movie

Today I went to my sisters house and watched the 4th DVD of the North and South movie. It felt like it was the last part but it says there is still 1 more DVD to watch. I have no idea what will be on it. Its been years since I seen the movie and it was great watching it again. I do feel a tad bit tired tonight and it is still early. I'm having sinus pressure behind my eyes that is giving me a headache.

Tomorrow I need to go out and get my niece a Christmas gift since she will be coming home for Thanksgiving and won't make it for Christmas this year. I do want to get a few more things out to decorate the house. Its weird, I'm not really in the Christmas spirit yet but I do want to get things out. I guess I need to figure out what goes out here and what will go out at the apt. too. I'm sure N will want to come over or go with me tomorrow since she didn't see me today on her day off. She has tomorrow off too.

Todays Craft Shows

Today was one of the crafts shows that I have been looking forward to. I ended up getting another cabinet door, shovel and sauce pan, all with snowman on them. I will have to take a picture of them tomorrow. Then we went to a private owned craft show, which I didn't get anything. We also went to a apple barn/craft store. They make there own baked goods also and I picked up a 1/2 dozen cinnamon/apple donuts. Very good stuff...lol

I had problems today with a headache since I got out of bed and pain behind both my eyes so when the shows were done I came right home. I just finished up watching some more of the North and South movie. Only 2 more DVD's to go....lol

Talked to all the guys tonight and so far no one has gotten a deer. The only thing C got was a big big big whole in his checking account that could take him some time getting out of. Man, what is up with a few people I know going in the hole this week at the bank.....{D} hugs

I'm Home

Just wanted to drop by and tell all that I'm home now. I seen my first real snow fall yesterday. Came down like the size of dimes. Very pretty but of course it didn't stay on the ground because the ground is still to warm. DH and D didn't get a deer yesterday but D did shoot at one and missed. My mom said that my dad got a 5 point buck yesterday morning. I haven't heard from C yet so I don't know how that bunch is doing. I left wed. afternoon and when we got to the apt. we found out that DH didn't bring D's gun down there with him like we thought and never gave it another thought to ask or look to make sure before we drove down there. So, DH, D and I drove all the way back home to pick it up and the boots that D forgot too. Drove back to the apt. All in all it was almost 8 hours on the road...lol. So, when Thurs. came I just didn't feel like driving home.

Beautiful Day

I can't wait for this day to begin today, it is suppose to be full sun and 62 degrees. Now for November that is way above the normal temps and I want to go out and enjoy the day.

Yesterday I went to my sisters and watched the 3 disk/side 1 of the North and South movie. We had a nice time. I was going to go there today and finish it up since we only seen one side of the disk but I want to get a few things done outside instead.

Tomorrow after D gets done with school, I'll be taking him down to the apt. to go deer hunting with my DH. But I don't plan on staying for the 4 days, I'm coming back home on Thursday. DH can bring him back home on Sunday....lol, I have craft shows to go to Saturday...lol Chris left this morning for the deering hunting camp with a friend/co-worker, so I will have some peace and quiet when I come home. That is as long as Nicole doesn't stop by every time she goes by the house....lol

Learned The Hard Way

I must say I learned a lesson the hard way this morning. I came across a link to one of my old blogs on here that I had deleted and found the blog still somewhat there. It had my picture and all my old info and links, but the blog entries wasn't mine at all. When I deleted the blog I thought it was gone so I never deleted the info first. Once you delete a blog sometimes spammers get a hold of it and that is what happened in my case. So, if you delete a blog, delete all the entries, user info and links first before finishing up the delete.

Disappointed

Yesterday was the 2nd craft day that we have all been to this year and I must say I was very disappointed. The craft show I really wanted to go to got canceled. They were planing on 2 shows this fall so I'm hoping they don't cancel the Dec. 8th one. They never even put a sign outside or anything, we had N go in and check on it since there wasn't very many cars in the parking lot. The other 2 shows we went to was rather on the boring side. Same kind of stuff, just different places. After the shows were done we all went to Olive Garden for soup and salads. I hadn't been there in years. We had a nice time just sitting there and talking. This time N got to go eat with us and she even paid for mine. She had just enough time to eat before going to work. Then the rest of us went to see a movie. It was a pretty good movie. We all enjoyed it.

While I was gone for the day my DH and brother inlaw worked on getting his brakes taken care of and had to cut up and package the deer that he hit on Friday night.

The Poor Deer

Last night I get a call from my DH about the time he was suppose to be getting home from work with some not so great news. He had hit a deer with the company truck. After waiting for the police to get there, do the report, he finally makes it home about 1 to 1 1/2 hours later. So upon pulling in the driveway I went out to take a look at the damage. Pretty good job, no grill, no left head light, radiator was messed up, not a pretty picture. But the good news for the company was, the airbag didn't go off. Went to the back of the truck to tell the poor deer I was sorry he had to get hit by the big mean truck. Then I told the little button buck that he should have stayed of the roads like his mom showed him....LOLOL

Today is craft shows day and a movie. So who knows what time I will make it home today. I hope it is early enough because I want to finish the cd of North and South movie. There are 5 cds and I'm only on number 2 with the 3rd one coming in the mail at anytime.

Craft Show Season

It past weekend was the beginning of craft show season. My mom, my 2 sisters, my niece, my daughter and I took off early in the morning for several shows. My daughter didn't get to do a full day of it because she had to go to work. After leaving her we all went to a few more then to lunch, which really ended up being lunch and dinner...lol There are more the next two Saturdays, so I will be busy. After the shows were done for the day, I went back to my sisters house to wait for my son to come home with my brother inlaw and nephew. After they came home my DH came and picked us up because he had my car for the day fixing my brakes...lol. If it isn't one thing with my car it is another.

Yesterday my inlaws came over for a short visit but that visit ended up being the wrong time of the day for us. We were right in the middle of putting some plastic up on the windows and by the time they left it was almost time for the race to start. So, not all the plastic never made it up. Its really hard to get everything done with the short amount of time my DH is home. Which is only 8 days a month.

Today I have a headache so not much is happening at home. Just a few things got picked up and cleaned up. D is on his way home from school and N will be coming over to watch a show I taped for her last week. That will be my lay down time for this stupid headache.

The school called today and I have PTC on wed. at 11am, which I know D had a good report card so I'm not worried about it.

She's Leaving

It sure ended up being a very interesting weekend. DH came home from his out of town work with flowers and pizza..lol He knew I was mad at him all week.

I got information from my sister that her exchange student was leaving and going back to Norway. She should have never came in the first place, she wasn't ready to do so at this time. She was missing her family and boyfriend to much. Really it was the boyfriend, he was hounding her everyday on what was going on in my sisters house. My sister has a son that is the same age as the her and the boyfriend was having a problem with that. They would be on the computer from morning till night on weekends and after school. She would have the mic on so he heard everything that was being said even tho he doesn't understand English. Pia the exchange had to tell him what was being said. But anyways, she is flying home today at 3:30. In a way my sisters whole family is very much ready for her to go. It hasn't been a fun time since she has been here. I went and said goodbye to her already so I won't be going to the airport when she leaves.

I'm having a little car problem again. This time its the brakes, just the stupid squeakers and it is really loud. Why does everything have to happen right after my DH leaves on monday for his out of town work. Go figure. I knew I needed new brakes, been telling him for months now that I needed new ones. Maybe now he will fix the stupid thing. I still smell some gas so I know that problem has not been taken care of totally.

Not my week

Its not been a week that I really want to talk about. Just the normal cleaning. Been depressed and see no way out. Thats all I have to say.

This Weekend

Yesterday turned out to be a busy day. My brother inlaw came over and my HB and him worked on one of my cars and sons truck. Then my other brother inlaw came over and talked business. Then while the two worked own my car, my son and I left with the last brother inlaw and went to my sisters house. From there my sister, her daughter and I went to the movies. We seen The Heartbreak Kid, it was a cute movie, we really enjoyed it. Then after the movie we went back to her house and my HB came and picked my son and I up. We stayed there for a few hours and then came home.

Today is race day and the day my HB leaves and goes back to the apt. I'm thinking that D and I might go with my sister and her kids to a haunted house after my HB leaves. Not sure yet on that. Its a 2 story house, 8,000 sq feet. My sister and I don't go through them so we will watch a movie while we wait for the kids...lol

So Boring

My life seems to be so boring, there is nothing new to tell....lol

My sister inlaw that had open heart surgery is doing wonderful.

My car (Rivie) has new tires on it and is ready to be driven.

My daughter is coming to terms with me not wanting 100 phone calls a day from her.

My son is doing good in school so far.

My other son is still sleeping on my sofa...lol

My DH is still living in another town during the week and home on weekends.

Nothing is broken in the house as of today...lol

Same ole thing

Well nothing really new is going on. Same things just different days. Had a pretty busy week last week, mainly cleaning. Hubby came home Friday night and Sat. morning got up to work on his truck. The water pump went out on him. He managed to get it done just in time to go to my cousin's daughters wedding. Had a very nice time there. It is always wonderful to see my cousins. We all just never get to see each other much through out the year. Sat. was race day, but I did get a few things done before the race started. Hubby took off Sunday night for his weekday home.

My son bought a car Sat. and he got it all licensed and insured yesterday. But it needs a few things taken care of before he can drive it. So for now, he will use my hubby's truck that just got the new water pump. My son's truck isn't work either...lolol

Yesterday my son took his cat in to get fixed and declawed. It is going to feel wonderful not to get all scratched up anymore. Matter of fact, he is on his way to pick him up right now.

As for the rest of the week, I really don't have much plans. Laundry got done yesterday so maybe I'll start going through the clothes that I want to give to the "Planted Live" drop off box.

Here we go again

So for 2 mornings in a row D was late for school. Its been a pain in the butt on a ride to school this year so far. He over slept 2 mornings in a row. Yesterday he asked his brother to take him and his brother told him no and to walk AND not to wake me up. Which this has made me mad. This morning he woke me up 3 minutes before school started. So, for not being late at all since school started he has gotten 2 days in a row down. School is about 2 miles away from my house. This kind of set me off in a not so good mood. Plus on top of it all, I came downstairs and it smells like Chris' cat has been spraying in my house. He hasn't been fixed yet and that better happen really really soon.

This week hasn't been a very busy week, just went grocery shopping and that's about it. Spent some time at my sister in-laws house yesterday because 2 of her dogs got into a fight and landed one at the vets in pretty bad shape. Then last night I went to my sisters to see my nephews senior pictures proofs. He took some really good pictures. I'm not doing D's pictures yet till I know he is going to graduate. Like in the spring...lol

It took awhile

Finally I decided it was time to put the pictures I took at my parents anniversary party on my computer and I'm very disappointed. I hardly took anything. I never took a picture of what all the decorations looked like. I didn't take pictures of my most of my family. I guess I just wasn't thinking very well. I will have to get pictures from both my sisters if they have some good ones. I don't even like half the ones I did take. Nicole didn't take her camera because her memory card was full so I won't be getting any from her. Bummer

Its Over

I'm so glad my parents 50th wedding anniversary is over. It was stressful and draining. It did turn out very nice though. Everyone seem to enjoy themselves. But, everyone left way to early, we had music for dancing if people wanted too, but in the end it turned out to be my family and both my sisters families was all that was left. So since we had the hall for the whole weekend and stayed till 10:30 dancing up a storm...lol. We all had a great time together. We cleaned up almost all of it before we left but decided to keep all the food there in the fridge and pick it up the next day. So in the morning we all headed over there to do the last minute cleaning, grabbed all the food that was left and took it all over to my parents house for an afternoon meal. Then we divided it all up from there.

Yesterday I took the key back for the hall and came home and did nothing. I napped off and on, played on the computer and that was about it. I don't seem to have anymore energy today then I did yesterday...lol But at some point and time I need to clean this house. We have another 50th wedding anniversary to go to this weekend. Man, that makes 3 of this year and some that will be coming up next year along with the 8 graduation parties.

I haven't made it to the apt yet. I have stuff that I got in FL that needs to go over there. I'm hoping to take a weekend at the end of the month. The car dying almost 2 weeks ago put me alittle behind of things that needed to get done and one of the things was go to the apt over the weekend. In the 2 1/2 weeks I have been home from FL, my car died, the toilet wouldn't flush, water wouldn't go down in the tub. Once the car was fixed (fuel pump) the oil light came on, I gave it a drink of oil..lol, something else happened, I can't remember and my internet modem stopped working. I had to take it in the cable company and pick up a new one. Then it wouldn't work so I had to call and have the tech guy help me with it. So, its been a crazy few weeks.

Life is Crazy

Things sure have been crazy in my life in the last week. Last Wednesday evening I went out to my car to take pictures over to my sister for my parents anniversary party and wouldn't you know it, it wouldn't start. After several people looking at it, we figured it was a bad fuel pump. So, I got stuck here with no car till Friday night. Saturday morning my new fuel pump got here and was put in the car. Started right up. So, I go on my way to a party Saturday night, all is well. Didn't go anywhere Sunday. Monday morning I took D out to lunch since I couldn't give him any lunch money till I went to the bank. But before I met up with D I took a shower and ended up standing in water. Then I noticed the toilet wasn't going down. Oh great now what. I didn't have time to deal with it just then. After lunch I headed over to my sisters house and the oil light came on just before I got in her driveway. So after checking the oil, I find that I needed not just 1 qt, but needed 3 qts of oil. So, got that taken care of, all is well, so I think. D trys the toilet when he got home from school, it started going down but very strangely. Still no time to deal with it. We had to be to Nicole's for dinner and then I had to head back to my sisters for more anniversary stuff. So, this morning, the toilet is going down after a bunch of plunging, but still not just right. Still no time to deal with such things because it is Nicole's 23rd birthday and we were going out to buy her a gift for her apt. Ok, while gone I realized that my gas gauge has not moved at all since the new fuel pump, toilet still isn't working. Are you getting the point to my crazy life since last week. I'm not getting into this hubby working out of town during the week and only home on weekends. All things go to pot while he is gone and at the beginning of the week...lol. As it was, my brother inlaw had to fix my car.

I woke up today, so life is good. The rest has all gone to pot. So, don't ask me how I feel, you might get an ear full.

Now what?

I'm home and find so much to do but yet I just don't feel like doing anything. Its to hot and to hot in other ways...lol

I know there is so much to be thankful for in my life and at the same time I have so much out of control things. Right now the biggest thing is my car. It died last night, no gas going to the motor. Why can't these things happen on the weekend when hubby is home to fix them???? So, I get to wait till he comes home this weekend to look at it. I so needed to go grocery shopping today, but I guess we can eat soup or something for dinner...lol. Its just me and D here till this weekend.

I got my hair cut short this week. The way they styled it is cute but something I won't be doing every day. I'm the lazy kind of person when it comes to my hair. I just want to wash it and go. But now that it is this short, it isn't working out like I had hoped. The reason I got most of it cut off was because the hair was all dead and straw like feeling. Its been a long long time since its been cut. We will see how this goes. Maybe I should have waited until after my parents 50th anniversary party which is the 15th of this month.....lolol

School has started, so now the other stress begins. I'm sure I will be complaining about it real soon. Like, D, will you please say in your afternoon classes?????? lolol

I'm Home

I'm home now. Its been a tiring few days. Come Tuesday when school starts things will settle down again. I hope..lol

Almost Time

I can't believe it is almost time for me to take Auntie back down to FL. I leave next Wed (Aug. 15th) and fly home on Aug. 30th.

There is so much that I have to do yet and so little time. I've been down at the apt. this week and will go back home tomorrow. But a much better week for it was at a much slower pace.

Hubby and I took the boys to the movies Wed. night. Was a pretty good movie, alittle to fast pace with the camera for my likings.

Well if you don't hear from me for awhile, you will now know why. Everyone have a great Aug.

For The Last Week

Well the weekend for the race was a long weekend that turned into one long week. It was wonderful to see one of our friends, but the race, thats a whole different story. I can say I have been to the Brickyard, but as for going back to that track, I don't think so. One of the stupidest set ups I've seen yet. So this is how the last week went.

Friday: Come home from apt. go to my sisters 40th birthday party.

Saturday: Meet sisters in the morning, come home and drive back to the apt. shower and head for IN to friends house. Get there around 8:30pm

Sunday: Go to the race, drive back to the apt.

Monday: Get up and drive back home, rest the rest of the day.

Tuesday: Get up and go to my parents house to visit, pick up the slides pictures and the machine to view them from. Go to sisters to go over the pictures but the light bulb didn't work. Had to order one, sister and I go back to parents house to see if there is a bulb in one of the other machines, yes find one, go back to sisters, start looking over pictures. Went through half the reels before going home in the evening. Oh, started calling halls to rent for the party.

Wed: Get up, go to parents to help mom with vcr/dvd player that I connected the day before. Head back to sisters to go through the rest of the slides. Have 134 slides picked out to make into pictures. Didn't get home again till evening.

Thurs: Finally cleaned up the house, went to the store to start on the school clothes shopping. Went and paid on the hall we decided to get.

Fri: Get up and started packing up the rest of Nicole's bedroom and putting her crap in the closet. Got out some of my workout stuff, set up to use. Went back to the store, needed pants for dinner plans I had in the evening with 3 of my girlfriends. We go every year for our birthdays (all in July).

Sat: Meet sisters again to go over the food list. Went shopping for prices, have that all taken care of. Picked up a few things here and there for the party. Took the slides in to get the pictures made. Went back to sisters house and my nephew put some movies and games on my ipod for me so I have something to do when I fly back home from FL. Never got home till 9pm.

Sunday: Went to Aunties house for a visit, came home packed my stuff up to go to the apt for the week, cleaned up some last minute things in the house.

Monday: Went to the doctors at 7:15am and drove back down to the apt.

So that is what the last week has looked like. I leave for FL a week from tomorrow, so this is the last week to spend time with hubby and boys. Not sure what day, but we are going to the movies one day this week. I will leave for FL on the 15th and fly home on the 30th of Aug.
